An Invitation to the USASBE 2011 – Hilton Head, SC |
It's time to start planning for the USASBE 2011 Annual Meeting and I am writing to personally invite you to submit a paper, workshop or case for consideration.
The annual USASBE conference is one of the premier gatherings of entrepreneurship scholars and educators in the world and the event usually offers an opportunity for us as educators to pause and share insightful papers, provocative workshops and inspirational keynote and pillar presenters! The 2011 conference will be held January 13 - 16 at the Hilton Head Marriott Resort and Spa, located on Hilton Head Island in beautiful and historic South Carolina. The Marriott property has access to a fabulous beach and boasts some of the best golf and tennis facilities. Excursion opportunities will be made available to nearby Savannah and Charleston for those who wish to explore the cultural and tourist attractions of these historic towns.
To view the Call for Papers and find out more about this year’s meeting, visit: www.usasbe.org/conference/2011/ Since you have participated in USASBE in the past, you already have an account on the system (your password is “icsb2010”).
How Can You Be Involved? We need you to submit your manuscripts and volunteer to review to make the program great!
The on-line manuscript submission system for the 2011 conference is now open and accepting competitive papers, workshop proposals, and competitive cases. The deadline for submissions is August 27, 2010. To facilitate the paper submission and review process, we use a system provided by Aquinex. The software is very intuitive and we expect that you will find it an easy and convenient means of submitting your papers and participate as a reviewer.
To make your submission, please visit: http://usasbe.org/conference/2011/submit_l.asp
To volunteer as a reviewer, please visit: http://usasbe.org/conference/2011/review_l.asp
Hilton Head 2011 promises to be a great opportunity to consider how best to move our discipline ahead while we reflect, network and return to the spring 2011 semester with renewed vigor. We look forward to receiving your work and seeing you at the conference!
Sincerely,
Ethné Swartz 2011 USASBE Program Chair Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship Chair, Marketing and Entrepreneurship Department Silberman College of Business Fairleigh Dickinson University Madison, New Jersey |
