ICSB Bulletin: May 2010

 

Welcome to the May 2010 edition of the ICSB Bulletin. The ICSB Bulletin has been established to capture the major ICSB news stories of the past month.

May has been a very busy month for ICSB as we are anticipating the upcoming 2010 World Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio in June. To keep everyone updated on the conference progress and announcements, we will be distributing six E-Bulletins leading up to the conference. The first two can be found in this newsletter. All delegates are also encouraged to visit the official conference website www.icsb2010.org for more conference information and updates.

Within this newsletter you will also find conference call for papers, workshop and wiki information, member awards, webinar reviews and newsletters from our partners.

ICSB 2010 E-Bulletin
Introducing the ICSB 2010 World Conference E-Bulletin. These six electronic bulletins are aimed at providing you with important information and announcements in anticipation for the ICSB 2010 Conference in Cincinnati, Ohio next month. EMEA Day at DELL for 2009 National Winners
Dell Inc. hosted the European Country winners for the 2009 Dell Small Business Excellence Award in Bracknell, UK on Monday, April 26th and Tuesday, April 27th. During the two days, the four country winners representing UK, France, Germany and Spain were involved in a number of sessions designed to enhance best pracice and grow their business.

ICSB PR&C 1st Faculty Lecture Series on May 14
The Puerto Rico and Caribbean Affiliate of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB) and the College of Business Administration at the Ponce Campus of the Pontificial Catholic University of Puerto Rico cordially invited guests to the ICSB PR&C 1st Faculty Lecture Series and Annual Membership Meeting.

ECSB/ICSB Wiki Evaluation
ECSB and ICSB are developing new online platforms to promote networking and knowledge exchange between our members. Among the most recent initiatives, we are developing a wiki on entrepreneurship and innovation which is now available on a beta version. We would appreciate your feedback and suggestions to improve the design. 

USASBE 2011 Call for Papers
Submit your abstract to the 2011 USASBE Conference "Entrepreneurship: Changing the Present, Creating the Future". The submission site will be open from June 15th to August 27th.

Open Workshop Series in Business and Management
The Stockholm School of Economics in Riga (SEE Riga) announces the launch of the first "Informal Entrepreneurship Index" for Latvia and cordially invites you to the presentation of the index. The presentation is organised as a part of the SSE Riga Open Workshop Series in Business and Management Studies and will be run by the auhor of indenx, SSE Rgia faculty member Dr. Arnis Sauka.
