This year, the ccsbe-ccpme annual conference has planned some extra social and networking activities into its schedule to allow participants the opportunity to discover the wonderful tourism attractions of Southern Ontario.

Wine Tours - ($95.00/person) includes:
- Chateau des Charmes wine tour and tasting.
- Free visiting time in Niagara Falls
- Tour and wine tasting at Rockway Glen Estate Winery.
- Dinner at Rockway Glen Estate Winery

St. Jacobs Country Tour
St. Jacobs Country’s vibrant agricultural and Mennonite community boasts over 100 unique craft, antique, home fashion and gift shops. The Farmer’s market is a perfect compliment to the agricultural heritage where you will experience a real cattle auction and find aisles upon aisles of homemade pastries, jams, cheeses, furniture and much more. The tour will also take you into the life of a Mennonite farmer where you will learn about and experience first hand some of their daily activities and traditions. The tour also includes a visit to the West Montrose covered bridge.

Stratford Festival Theatre
The internationally renowned Stratford theatre is host to some of Canada’s most talented artists. Its mission is to produce, to the highest standards possible, the best works of theatre in the classical and contemporary repertoire, with special emphasis on the works of William Shakespeare. Shakespeare’s 1611 story of The Tempest, Directed by Artistic Director Richard Monette and choreographed by Michael Lichtefeld is sure to be spectacular.

Niagara Falls Wine Tour
This tour has been designed to combine the scenic wonder of the Niagara Falls with some of the excellent wine experiences of the Niagara Region. Chateau de Charmes offers a comprehensive private tour that explores the art of winemaking form the grape to the glass, complete with a tour of their underground barrel cellars and finished with an educational tasting of 3 VQA wines. Rockway Glen offers the chance to tour the Mussee du Vin, Canada’s only winemaking museum which features 18th and 19th century accoutrements from the most renowned wine-making regions of France. A wine tasting and elegant dinner will close the evening at the Rockway Glen Estate Winery. You will also receive a complimentary 750ml bottle of Rockway Glen VQA wine.
